Yolks on You tickets for Sunday, May 4th on sale!
Jim and Delilah were enjoying a lengthy happy hour at the Bier Baron Tavern in Washington, DC and bullshitting about nothing in particular.
Then, it came to them. They created a brunch show, dedicated to the full spectrum of variety entertainment, and focused on creating a few hours where attendees could relax, laugh, and forget about *gestures vaguely* all that other stuff going on.
They would call it... Yolks on You! Now in its eighth year, Yolks on You! continues to draw a wide audience of people looking for joyful, inclusive, feel-good live entertainment.
Beyond Yolks on You, our production company DMVariety focuses on creating modern vaudeville experiences for the DMV, whether through Yolks on You! or another, equally ridiculous offering.
The Brazilian Bombshell
Delilah Dentata is a multiple-award-winning burlesque and variety performer, host, and producer based in Washington, DC. This Brazilian Bombshell has been described as "strangely sexy", "alarmingly committed to the bit", and, in one instance "a choice." Honestly, fair. She has no notes.
A self-proclaimed icon (it's called manifesting, sweaty), Delilah has brought her brand of "what even IS this" to shows all over the East Coast and Midwest, including at Astro Pop Events' Elvis' Birthday Fight Club, TBD Immersive, Otakon, Super Art Fight, Dr. Sketchy's, and Naked Girls Reading, among others.
Delilah Dentata: Don't look directly at her!!! She's too powerful!!!
Circus Clown Gone Horribly Wrong
Jim Dandy got his performance debut in Madison Square Garden with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as their beloved punk rock clown. Sporting bondage pants, a leather jacket, and a trademark green spiked wig, he performed as a clown for five years. In addition to his antics in the ring, Jim could be seen on various news channels, commercials, a video game, and newspapers.
During that time, his performance style was described as "oblique", "zany", and "would make Sid Vicious die a second death."
Since then he's brought his unique blend of vaudevillian punk rock charm to his ancestral homeland of Washington, DC where, in addition to being one-half of DMVariety, he appears in Elvis' Birthday Fight Club, American The Game Show: Fuck Yeah!, Otakon, Anime USA, Festival of Doom, ABSFest, and much more!
